Beverley Hewitt spent 20 years as a designer for Royal Doulton before starting her own ceramics company in 2003. Now based in Stoke on Trent in an old factory with its original kilns, she Beverley Hewitt paints designs onto bone china cups, saucers, mugs, jars and teapots made by local potters. Beverley trained in textiles at Manchester and Stockport art college before taking up watercolours and it was her expertise in painting floral and fauna that lead to here job at Royal Doulton. I take inspiration from both nature and modern trends, Beverley says, so there is apiece for everyone in my collection.
